On August 21, 2017, there will be a total solar eclipse.  Charleston, South Carolina is at the very end of its U.S. land path.  If weather conditions are favorable there is a good chance to see darkness for as much as two minutes sometime between 2:30pm & 3pm on this Monday afternoon in August.

It has been 38 years since the last solar eclipse passed through the United States, so this is kind of a big deal.  Charleston schools are closed that day, and viewing events are being organized around town.

If you would like a chance to be a part of this special experience why not make a long weekend out of it and let us plan a Wanderlust Charleston Package for you?

*Please keep in mind the viewing of the solar eclipse is dependent on weather conditions the day of the event.  We have no control over the weather and cannot guarantee a view.
