Located on the northern tip of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, just 30 minutes from historic Charleston you will find Wild Dunes Resort.  Due to its secluded location I did not even know this 1,600 acre resort existed the first two years of living 10 miles away from it.  But once I stayed at the property this charming destination has become one that I love and recommend to a wide range of clients.

The expansive oceanfront resort has something for everyone.  The luxurious Boardwalk Inn is perfect for couples.  The Villages at Wild Dunes have a combination of options of suites and guest rooms that has more residential-style layouts.  Then you have over 350 condos, cottages and vacation homes available to accommodate any size group.  I have been able to tour all of the lodging options and am able to match you with the perfect accommodations for your stay.

Whether it is a family vacation, couples getaway or business trip Wild Dunes has year-round activities and options for all ages.  You can spend your day at the beach, take a dip in one of the 5 pools or rent a bike or go for a walk on the shaded 5 miles of trails on property.

For an additional fee the resort offers kids activities in the summer where you can drop them off for a few hours, giving you time enjoy a treatment at the spa.  There is a wide variety of water sports and natural excursions in the ocean and intracoastal that can be scheduled in advance or while on property at the onsite excursion office.

For golfers there are two courses: Harbor and Links.  The Links recently underwent a year-long renovation and also added a new restaurant and pro shop.  If tennis is your sport the tennis center is ranked #3 in the world for top tennis resorts.

You can dine at a variety of onsite restaurants or venture into nearby Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant or downtown Charleston.  As a local to the area I have the insider knowledge of the most current restaurant openings and hot spots.

If you would like your room or home pre-stocked with food that can be arranged in advance.  Baby equipment/supplies and babysitting services can also be reserved.  We can also set up a family photo shoot to preserve the memories of your stay.

Don’t just think of Wild Dunes as a summer destination.  The mild spring and fall seasons bring comfortable weather, less crowds and lower prices.  All the major holidays have fun filled family activities.  If you have not heard of the Wild Dunes Thanksgiving golf cart parade you will enjoy taking part in this tradition. Christmas, New Years and Easter guests also offered week-long family events.
